A Lonely Evangelist…

Confessions in Change

This shift is a complicated and lonely affair. When speaking about these times of change only to get mocked, and sometimes angrily too, I’m left wavering on the fence of uncertainty. I recently had a discussion with my mother about her faith, thinking that as she was a church goer back in the day, she has some kind of spiritual belief system. Quite the opposite in fact. She looked at me as if I had just crawled out from underneath a stone. I’m not sure why I was so surprised; considering her conditioning. She has after all seen the rise of the consumerist economic climate that has escalated exponentially during her lifetime. Objective dualism and materialism are in her programming. As well as my mother, I’m sure most of my friends think I’m crackers too.
